In recent months the local town council has been homeless as the Town Hall (almost next door to the church) undergoes major renovations. The church has been able to provide a temporary home for council meetings which the Mayor has much appreciated. Thank the Lord for increased contact with local councillors and pray that much good for the gospel will result from this.

We have been very encouraged by our children’s work. Starting from scratch in January, we now have about sixteen children who attend the ‘Extra Time’ club at 6pm on each Wednesday in term time. Please pray for these children as they are gently introduced to the Gospel message and for the contact with their parents.

Friendship Group 1-3pm – This is an outreach event held once a month where the community can come along free of charge; they can make new friends, enjoy fellowship, hear a thought for the week and have a cup of tea. This Friendship group is not doing well; numbers vary and are quite low. There are some that attend who are asking searching questions. Please pray for those that seek to get closer to the Lord and continue to pray for this group and its outreach.
