EFCC Prayer Focus

Birstall Community Church Thanks for a Nigerian church from Leeds who hold a young people’s meeting in our building on Wednesday evenings. They aim to contact our local schools for more youngsters and we pray that will be a way back into youth work for us as a church.

Wheelock Congregational Church

Friendship Club 1-3pm – We thank the Lord for previous meetings. This was previously the Fifty plus Group but a decision was made by the group to change the name to be more inclusive. This is an outreach event held once a month where the community is invited free of charge; they can make new friends, enjoy fellowship with each other, hear a thought for the week and have a cup of tea. Please pray for this club that it continues to thrive and we see some of those that attend coming along to our Sunday services and wanting to get to know and learn more about our Lord.
