Honiton Congregational Church, Devon

We are planning a 'Church Open Day' - recently we opened up the church for the Honiton Charter Day (800 years since the town was granted a charter to have a market) and had a number of people look round. The frequent comment was that though they had seen our church building often, it is prominently placed on the High Street, they had never been inside. We had good conversations both about the building and about what we as a church stand for. We hope to widen this and have contact with more people locally through this.
